1. RURAL ELECTRIFICATION
Rural electrification is one of the core services rendered by Douglas Electrical Company Limited. This is the process of bringing electrical power to rural and remote areas. The process includes running of high and low tension lines, building of sub-stations for step up and step down either for 132kv lines or 33kv lines and 11 lines, installation of line stabilizer on power lines and transformer installation.
2. TRANSFORMER REPAIRS, MAINTENANCE AND INSTALLATION:
This is the repairs, maintenance, refurbishing of damaged and broken down transformers, transformer recoiling of insulation and drying, and transformers installations, feeder pliers, stabilizer, etc. This includes Pylon, high tension and Low tension electrical line installation, repair and maintenance of distribution and instrument transformers of different power and voltage rating such as 11/0.415KV, 110v etc., and from 5KVA to 2000KVA, etc.
3. TRANSFORMER TESTING:
This involves several procedures such as: 1. Transformer mega testing, single phase and 3- phase ratio test. 2. Oil and core testing services. 3. Domestic and industrial electrical installation and wiring services. 4. Filtration of transformer oil to enhance its insulation strength that comply with BS standard and PHCN specifications.
